Maharaj Paresh P. Pathak, Dallas
On the "Pithi" ceremony of Dipes in Grand Prairie, I had a nice chat with a good friend of mine Maharaj Paresh P. Pathak also known as Manekporewala. He has been serving DFW Indian community since 2001 (9 years) as a religious Maharaj ji (pundit). He does all kinds of karmakands and poojas including Shree Satyanarayan Katha, Shanti Havan, Vastu Shanti, Wedding Ceremonies, baby shower, Ground Breaking Ceremony (Bhumipujan), Death Ceremony etc.
The fact that he is also a hobbyist photographer really helped me a lot. He used to alert me before any important procedure. Once he even paused the event to inform and explained me the important phase of the pooja which allowed me to capture the moment in my camera including all the important details as well.
He is very friendly and very much dedicated to his work. If you are looking for maharaj ji (pundit) for any events, karmakands and poojas including Shree Satyanarayan Katha, Shanti Havan, Vastu Shanti, Wedding Ceremonies, baby shower, Ground Breaking Ceremony (Bhumipujan), Death Ceremony he is probably the best guy in US.

DJ CHANI: The Best DJ of Houston
Before leaving for Houston on the memorial day weekend, a good friend of mine informed me that I will be experiencing probably the most amazing tunes from the best DJ of Houston, DJ Chani. The prior note from my friend made me really excited as he piled up lots of expectation on Chani. However, when I reached there and listened to his tracks, it was thrilled as it was more than what I had expected from him. I had never encounter with such DJ after a long time with such a magic in his tune. He is certainly the best DJ of Houston and probably one of the best desi DJ in USA and also my personal favorite DJ and a friend.
Beside the music, the lighting effects made the rocking environment backed up by the wonderful decoration. Whole atmosphere was entertaining that hardly anyone could stop from joining the craze in the dance floor. The music was jamming so well that glued into the dance floor till the end. Finally, music had to be shut down because of the time constrain.

Sweta + Dipes: "Rab Ne Banadi Jodi"
Sweta from Athens, Alabama got married with Dipes From Dallas, Texas on May 30th 2010. The wedding kicked off in traditional Gujrati fashion with Mandva Mahurat at Grand Prairie during during which Lord Ganesha was worshiped, this time his blessings were sough for the ground on which the wedding canopy would be installed. We had to split up our photographers into two teams, one to cover the event at Alabama and one for the event in Grand Prairie .
Although Dipes (Groom) had injured his right feet few days back, nothing could stop such a fabulous and exciting wedding conclude smoothly. Although, the event usually takes place at the bride and groom's houses separately before the wedding day, the "Pithi "which entails rubbing a paste made out of variable ingredients on the bride and groom's skin, followed right after the "Mandva Mahirat" for groom a couple of day before wedding.
Since our second team was already in Alabama, we were able to capture "Pithi" at Brides place (Huntsville, Alabama) as well as "Mameru" in Grand Prairie at the same time.
It was wonderful experience working with you guys. Sweta & Dipes, all the best for your happily married life and thank you once again for making us part of your wondrous wedding.
