May their future be as colorful and bright as this photo!!

Looking up to the future!!!
Today we created a fun filled lifetime memory that we are gonna cherish throughout our life... no matter where we will be, we will always be together!!!

Wanna climb the ladder of Success!!!
Did this session bring you back to your sweet old times??? I too had great time and fun doing this session as much as the girls enjoyed. Wish them all the best!!!

Alissa & Jason

I was on outdoor shoot with Alissa & Jason for few snaps. It was bright, sunny, hot and humid. But nothing can take away the passion Alissa & Jason had for this shoot. Both were very cooperative... and the result is here.

Amreen and Mohammad

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of photographing the engagement of Amreen and Mohammad. So we went out to find a place as lively and beautiful as their smiles, which by the way would not had left even if it had started raining. We mixed the shots up with a few art, and character scenes. Here are a few of their pictures for ya'll to see.

They really enjoyed the session as we move along. Few more tricks of the sleeve and here you go.

Shaan & Keya's Navjote Ceremony

Last week, December 15 2007, I was with the Varia family at their Bangalow in Dallas, TX to photograph the Navjot Ceremony of two young Kids: Shaan and Keya. Navjot is the Zoroastrian ritual which happens before a girl or boy reaches maturity. Both kids, Shaan & Keya, were excited about the ceremony which started with thier holy bath and enchanting mantras. They put on their sacred shirt (sudre) and thread (kusti) which was followed by blessings from family and others who witnessed the ceremony. This religious function was followed by a reception. The reception, as expected was fun filled, and the guests will be talking about it for a while. I would like to share some of the images from the ceremony and reception.

Here comes Shaan and Keya after their Holy Bath escorted by two priests performing the rituals

Mom (Shernaz) and Aunt holding religiously important items

Novjote is usually performed by lighting fire

Priest performing navjote rituals

This is sacred thread (kusti). There is some rule and process behind tie and untie it.

I like the way the priest explained how the ritual was done, its importance and meaning. The guests really enjoyed it.

Shaan and Keya seems delighted after the ceremony was over. It was great day for them.

This is Varia family

Meanwhile ceremony was going on, I got few snaps of Reception Hall. Decoration was really amusing.
